Deleting Your Data
How to remove your account and everything in it from Wardio, in one place and in plain words. Meta and Google require every application connected to their platforms to publish this page, and we would rather it were true than merely present.
Delete it yourself, immediately
Sign in, open Settings, and use Delete account. You type the word DELETE to confirm, and the deletion runs at once: your login, your profile and the workspace you own are removed in the same transaction. There is no queue, no support ticket and no waiting period. If you are the last member of a workspace, that workspace and its contents go with you.
Disconnecting an advertising account
Removing the connection to a Meta or Google advertising account is separate and reversible: open Settings, disconnect the account, and we delete the stored access token and the performance data we copied from it. Nothing is changed inside your advertising account itself. You can also revoke our access from the platform side, in Meta Business Settings or in your Google account permissions, and our copy is deleted the next time we see the revocation.
If you cannot sign in
Email privacy@wardioai.com from the address on the account. We verify that it is yours, delete the account, and confirm in writing within 30 days, usually the same week.
What survives deletion, and why
Two things, both required of us by law rather than kept by choice. Invoices and payment records are held by Paddle as Merchant of Record for the retention period tax law imposes. Security and audit logs recording that a deletion happened are kept in a separate system so that the deletion itself can be proved. Neither contains the content you created.
Backups
Encrypted backups roll off on a 30-day cycle. Deleted data is unreachable from the product the moment you delete it, and is gone from backups within 30 days. A backup is never restored selectively to bring deleted data back.
